MAPLE BEAR CZECHIA | BRNO | The best of Canadian education for a global future.

After-school care and school experiences

The school day at Maple Bear neither begins nor ends with the final lesson. Morning and afternoon care provide students with a safe environment and space for relaxation, physical activity, creative pursuits, and socializing with friends.

Field trips, excursions, and outdoor education programs then take learning into the real world and help students develop independence, cooperation, and curiosity.

More than just time outside the classroom

Learning that continues beyond the classroom

We do not view the after-school club merely as a place to wait for parents. After classes, students primarily need to change their pace, relax, spend time outdoors, or choose an activity that suits their energy levels.

Field trips and excursions also have a clear link to education. Students can observe, ask questions, verify the knowledge they have acquired, and better understand how it relates to everyday life.

Morning Before-School Care

The before-school care program is open from 7:30 a.m. until classes begin at 8:00 a.m. This allows students to start the school day calmly and without unnecessary rushing.

After-school care

After classes end, after-school care is available until 5:30 PM. The program alternates between rest, free play, outdoor time, creative activities, and group activities.

Afternoon Program

Students have the opportunity to discover new interests, develop their skills, and spend their time meaningfully—without the added pressure to perform.

Trips and Excursions

We visit places that expand upon classroom topics and allow students to discover the world through real-life experiences.

Outdoor School Trip

A shared stay away from school fosters independence, strengthens class relationships, and develops the ability to communicate and handle new situations.
